I removed the 'cleanup' sticker because the page looks ok to me, but I think it needs at least one reference. Please find one.Seth J. Frantzman 23:45, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
"He?'
Who is the "he" being referenced in the "Background" section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.187.112.28 (talk) 21:52, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Ariane101 (talk) 02:29, 13 April 2010 (UTC)I have added detail in relation to the punishment phase of Allen's trial sourced from the Direct Appeal Judgement. However this article needs to have a closer look at the following; the impact of her sexuality on her treatment in the legal system; the prior manslaughter conviction; and the issue of mental retardation. More detail needs to be put into the description of the actual crimes, as they appear to omit detail and potentially mislead the reader. This information is available from the Appeal judgements for Leathers, but not for Pettus. Additionally the following information would be useful; analysis on the Self Defence issue which is in the direct appeal, an outline of Allens' case post conviction. It would be useful to put the information about the lack of medical evidence in Allen's trial re: mental ability into some context.
- Also, it might be a wee bit helpful if the references that were supposedly used for this entry were actually numbered and cited appropriately in the body of the text. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.141.152.197 (talk) 05:26, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

- Attempted to notify User:Claritas - who prodded this on the 02/09 - but he retired the following day. I shall not be taking this to AfD. Plutonium27 (talk) 03:35, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
