1000°C during pre ceramics?

The article states that during the pre ceramics age the pulverised limestone was heated to 1000°C. I was under the impression that during the ceramics age reaching 1000°C was a big feat which translated into copper metallurgy. How did pre-ceramics people already achieve 1000°C when it was supposedly a big feat later on? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:908:1065:B8E0:B326:84DE:4DD0:CA48 (talk) 15:39, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
