I added the new The Collected Poems: 1956-1998. As I couldn't find the name(s) of the translator(s) on HarperCollins nor the Amazon website, I did a google search which came up with a review of the volume published in The New York Sun: The Sparring Poet. On the second page Milosz and Scott are mentioned, whose translations are left 'untouched' and Alissa Valles, whose translations take the place of the Carpenters. However, in any other review of this edition, only Valles is mentioned. So I'm a bit puzzled. Did Valles translate the whole of it, or does she share credits with Milosz & Scott? I don't have this edition yet, so maybe someone can clear this up in the mean time? 83.24.128.233's translations of titles seemed to me off the mark. I checked and updated them with help from the new Collected Poems 1956-1998 (2007) and http://www.culture.pl/en/culture/artykuly/os_herbert_zbigniew. LocusBeatus 21:36, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The author, or principal author, of this article does not have native command of English. This is not a criticism, just an observation. I have corrected a couple of obvious errors, e.g. replacing "portrayed" with "published", which is the obvious intent. However, it is unclear what is meant in some sections, and I will not touch these. I encourage the original author(s) to consult a native English speaker in order to clarify this otherwise very acceptable article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.26.163.176 (talk) 13:01, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Relationship to George Herbert

I see not citation to the statement he was a distant relation of 17th century Anglo-Welsh poet George Herbert, and a demonstration of how he was related that conclusively links him would be welcome. Likewise demonstration of personal claim on his own part.Cloptonson (talk) 22:07, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

His claim is noted here [1].Volunteer Marek (talk) 22:33, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

B-class review for WP:POLAND failed

Primary reason: insufficient density of inline citations. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 17:39, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
