Dramaboards

I tend to be somewhat active on the worst dramaboards on Wikipedia (mainly

AN/I
). I started following AN/I and watching editors that are mentioned there way before I started my binge-editing spree. I thought that was the best way to get familiar with the rules, customs and guidelines of Wikipedia, and boy - was I right! =)

While I don't post on AN/I a lot, I read all of it, and follow the trails from there. Some may call it WikiHounding, but I believe that, even now, I still have a lot to learn to get accustomed to the variety of policy interpretations, opinions, and - most importantly - what not to do around here.

I'd encourage every new editor to closely watch AN/I for a month before contributing to any controversial topic. However, here's a handy cheat-sheet:

  • If you think you have the right to
    free speech
wherever you please, Wikipedia is not for you. You do not have that right.
  • If something on this website
    offended you or your beliefs
, Wikipedia is not for you. IDGAF about what you're upset with.
  • If you spent a lot of time there and found a way to circumvent the letter of the rules in your favor against consensus,
    Wikipedia is not for you
