A Beginning

I started editing Wikipedia in June 2013 and was drawn here because I thought I might be able to contribute. Oh shucks, I found some errors that needed correcting, so I thought I would just do it myself. Through my Talk page, I was immediately welcomed to the community with an invitation to the Tea House. There, with a little bit of trial and error, I learned to communicate with others on Wikipedia. As part of my attempt to learn my way around, I started building a list of articles I was reviewing. My efforts drew an additional Welcome with a few gentle corrections and a list of useful links that were much more nicely formatted than my own.
