David Packard Medal of Achievement, formerly AeA Medal of Achievement is presented annually by TechAmerica (formerly AeA), since 1959. An award dinner is held to honor the current years recipient and to hear his/her vision of the fututre of the tech-industry.[1] This award is the highest award bestowed by TechAmerica.

Current Recipient

The 2008 recipient of the Medal of Achievement is the president and Chief Executive Officer of

University of California, Berkley. In 1974, Otellini joined in Intel, working for various branches. Otellini was elected to the board of directors, promoted to president and promoted to chief operating officer of Intel in 2002. In 2005, he was again promoted to CEO of Intel . [2]
