  • Here at Wikipedia I like to make sure that folks and facts from Brazil become better know. The country is fantastic and merits our collective attention.
  • I think that science should not be off-putting or frightening. People can relate to scientific projects and conclusions through an appreciation of the history of science.
  • People, to me, have always been important, and biography tells us much about others and their times (perhaps, too, about us and our times).
  • As an entomologist, I study insects and other terrestrial arthropods. For the past several years, I have worked with Amazonian butterflies and their conservation.
  • Also, I enjoy reading about pirates, but I certainly would not want to travel the high seas by sailing ship during the Golden Age of Piracy.
  • I'm an archaeology buff, too, but there are only a certain number of things one can do and not look too silly.

Please leave messages on my talk page. Be patient: I am a learner.
