Orca and кoсатка

Hi, Arima. I just wanted to make sure you knew that I'm not removing "кoсатка" from the Orca article arbitrarily, in case you weren't watching the page history. The Russian term has been discussed before here. While most of that was just to figure out the correct term[1], my last comment is still relevant. There just isn't anything that I can see etymologically that has anything to do with "fierceness", which is the topic of the paragraph. I may be wrong, but if I am, I'd like to see a specific reason. —HorsePunchKid 19:39, July 18, 2005 (UTC)

Kirby

You commented on the Kirby talk page: A lot of people don't know if the Name came from a Nintendo Executive or the Brand of Vacuum Cleaner.

Do you know which one? Do you even know for sure that it is one of those two, or is that an unfounded rumor? If you can write something factual on this topic, please do so in the article. Aerion//talk 02:22, 27 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

SF characters ages

Did you get the ages for the characters from Star Fox 64 from the player's guide or somewhere else? If it wasn't from somewhere official, they should be removed.

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect The 3 Incidents. Since you had some involvement with the The 3 Incidents redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 13:32, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

RADAR picket?

May I ask, why have you added information on World War 2 Japanese naval pickets to a Radar picket article when these pickets had no radar? While interesting info it should not be in this article and should be reverted. Tfdavisatsnetnet (talk) 01:39, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I took the position used by RenatUK: I reverted the Radar picket changes, but out of courtesy I saved the changes to the Radar picket Talk page.Tfdavisatsnetnet (talk) 02:08, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article McComb v. Connaghan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability for this court case, while it got some media attention, it was not a landmark decision.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Request reason:

I sincerely apologize for making some recent edits that were absolutely in poor judgement and being stubborn about it. It was never, ever in my intention to act in a disruptive manner here on Wikipedia. Arima (talk) 10:21, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This doesn't come close to addressing the concerns raised here. Yamla (talk) 10:36, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I mistakenly assumed that the information on Segaretro was just basic knowledge that was in the public-domain instead of being original research that belonged to that site. Hence my poor judgement in thinking that I didn't need to add a citation linking it back to that article.--Arima (talk) 10:49, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
