Black hat SEO
.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the

articles for creation
process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Aspireforintelligence. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Aspireforintelligence|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message.

  • You recently added a photograph of the Steve Lott to his article and listed the photo as own work. What is your relationship with Steve Lott? If you have been hired to write/work on this or any other Wikipedia article the Terms of Use require the disclosures noted in the template and, recently, that you provide links to any sites where you advertise. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Jbh Talk 01:52, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • Thank you for showing an interest to my work. I must state that I do not get any kind of a financial benefit, nor direct or indirect compensation for editing and writing articles. I write different articles which is easy to verify by my input. I have asked a journalist I know, who recently was in the Boxing Hall of Fame to take a photo of Steve Lott for me.Aspireforintelligence (talk) 13:25, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your prompt response. Our
copyright policy requires that the actual author provide copyright release. It is not acceptable for you to upload another's work as 'own work'. You can have the photographer send release information to [email protected]. More information can be found at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Jbh Talk 16:35, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply
]
See the deletion nomination over on Commons. Jbh Talk 16:39, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • If I may kindly ask: is it about who actually "took the photo" or about who "has the rights" for the photo?Aspireforintelligence (talk) 15:12, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Unless you have explicitly obtained the rights to the photo and have a release from the photographer transfering their copyright to you in toto the release needs to come from the photographer. If the work has been released by the photographer under a compatible license elsewhere then documenting that is also acceptable.
WP:COPYOTHERS] has more information on that. Jbh Talk 15:20, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Non-compromised Pendulum

Hello Aspireforintelligence,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged

promotional
, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Aspirations

At the risk of being accused of "outing" you, I will state that you have contacted me by telephone and told me who you are. You undoubtedly have a

CoI
and, despite your claim above, I consider that your activities here almost certainly count as paid editing which you have not properly declared.

I have moved your article back to draft space. Please wait for it to be properly reviewed. Do not copy it back to mainspace. But the best advice I can give you is to trot out my usual mantra: kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no

CoI thinks the book is notable and writes about it here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:32, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply
]

Your English is very good but you need to learn the difference between cite, sight and site. I agree that with Katagans for example it is difficult to see how you might have any

CoI. But when I see your name and mug shot on a site associated with the Non-compromised Pendulum, I say that is prima facie evidence of CoI. The best advice I can give you is this or put in a request at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Boxing. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:38, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply
]

I found your choice of PRhese as a possible "sponsor" rather curious. He seems to be more concerned with general quality control rather than specifically boxing topics. Instead, look at the main section of category:boxing books. It lists six books. Three of them were created in 2003/2004 by the same person. He is still active. Try asking him for help! — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:54, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
