I've reverted your edit of Ruben Santiago-Hudson's name to Ruben Hudson. Santiago-Hudson is credited as Ruben Santiago-Hudson in the show credits, and although his name is occasionally not hyphenated, he is always credited as Santiago-Hudson. Changing his name to other than the credited form is inaccurate, and further edits may be regarded as vandalism. Drmargi (talk) 20:17, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Scrubs (TV series). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. AussieLegend (talk) 03:23, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Please note that when adding facts and figures (such as viewership data) to a page, such as you did here to List of Castle episodes, you must provide a reliable source to verify the edit. Without a source, your information risks deletion. Thank you. --Logical Fuzz (talk) 22:26, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Recent edits to U.S. presidential election articles
I have concerns about a number of the edits you have been making lately to articles about U.S. presidential elections. My biggest concern is that on many occasions you have made made significant changes to articles, sometimes contradicting information that was in the article, without any discussion on the
Many of the edits I have seen (but not all) are indeed highly questionable. For example, in these edits, you removed the running mate information from the infobox of the 1796 presidential election article, and in this edit you did the same for 1800. While the election structure before the 12th Amendment did not allow for candidates to formally run separately for president and vice-president, they were de facto running mates.
In this edit you doubled the "needed to win" figure for the 1789 presidential election and in this edit you did the same for the 1792 election. In both cases the figures you gave were clearly incorrect.
In this edit, you changed the party affiliation for
In this edit, you changed the party affiliation for Horace Greeley in the 1872 election from Liberal Republican to Democratic. Greeley was one of the chief organizers of the Liberal Republican party. After they nominated him as their candidate for president, the Democrats, hoping to elect anybody but Grant, nominated him also. It would make sense to add the Democratic party to the template after the Liberal Republican party, but I don't think the template can handle that. In any case, removing the Liberal Republican party was wrong.
When you edit an article, you should always provide an edit summary. And if you are going to make changes like some of those above, where you disagree with the content of an article that has stood for some time and appears to be commonly agreed upon, particularly when you are not citing sources for the change, it would be a good idea to discuss the change on the talk page first. You might find that what you think you know is not true.

]College football team seasons
Ben76266, I've noticed a lot of your work on college football articles of late, particularly that you created a few articles for Virginia Cavaliers football seasons. Good work! Just wanted to bring a couple formatting issues to your attention, particularly if you plan on creating more football season articles, which I hope you do. First, watch out for capitalization. For example, "football team" as in "2001 Virginia Cavaliers football team" should be lower case. Second, all records and scores should be punctuated with an en dash, not a hyphen. You can make an en dash by entering the following code: –
. See Dash and Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Dashes for more on that. Thanks. Jweiss11 (talk) 05:29, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Alvin Greene
I've reverted your edits to the Alvin Greene article. (1) He is no longer in the military, so his occupation is not "soldier". (2) A non-incumbent candidate does not have the job title of "politician". (3) The other candidates are credible and newsworthy (Tom Clements, the Green Party candidate, is ahead of Greene in the polls) and deserve to be mentioned in the article. Those are just the changes I caught. I'm happy to discuss this if you want to. JTRH (talk) 13:13, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Quick note on use of permalinks when linking to Founders.archives.gov
Just a quick note on using permalinks when linking to Founders.archives.gov (for example in editing the George Washington article or in editing the John Adams article).
It's preferable to use the permalink rather than the search result link, because the search result link may get out of date as more documents are added to Founders.archives.gov.
There's more information on the issue here:
https://founders.archives.gov/about/permalinks
So every few weeks I've just been looking for added search result links, and changing them over to permalinks.

Major film studio move
Apparently you did not read the article since you place in the edit summary:
- "Article moved and retitled 'American film studios' as it only covers film studios primarily active in the U.S. and Canada"
- "moved page Major film studio to American film studios: The examples and perspective in this article deal primarily with the United States and do not represent a worldwide view of the subject."
There are no non-American major studios, but there are some listed as mini-majors are:
- Gaumont Film Company - France
- Nordisk Film (The Egmont Group) based in Denmark but has operations in various northern European countries
- Clasart Film (Leonine Holding) based in Germany
- Constantin Film (Highlight Communications) Germany
Pathe used to a large production company early on, but its never been called a major studio, nor called part of the (pre=golden age) Trust. Changing it to "America film studio" opens it up to more than just the major and mini-major film studios, opens up the floodgate to list any and all production companies. As there are not any published standard to be one (major and mini-major) except for the media to consider them one. --Spshu (talk) 21:02, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
Of the hundreds of film studios mentioned in the article, you mention the 4 that are non-American. The vast majority of film studios listed on this page are based in the United States, which is why the move should be made.
Film production companies are different than film studios. A film studio (like the big five and mini-majors) handle financing and distribution of films, not the actual production. If you look at any film page on Wikipedia, you will notice that production company and distributor are separate lines in info-boxes for this reason. This article in particular deals with film distributors such as Warner Brothers, Paramount, Sony, Disney and Universal.
The published standard for major and mini-major can be found in the market share rankings next to each studio. Any distributor that has less than 1% market share cannot claim to be major or mini-major.
I have moved this discussion to the talk page of the relevant article where it belongs.
- Look don't lecture, Me. I know the subject. I know the different between Film production companies are different than film studios, but film production companies and film studios is some what of a synonymous. You don't get to define them. The do get into production else why the actual physical studio that they own. the article deals with MAJOR FILM STUDIOS. Distribution doesn't make the even a mini-major as MGM was still consider a mini-major while not have little if any distribution for a period of this status. But any America studio that produces and distributes could arguable considered an "American film studio". Spshu (talk) 22:54, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
