DYK for Fernet con coca
On 29 June 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Fernet con coca, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the combination of fernet and cola (example pictured) is so popular in Argentina that the country consumes more than 75 percent of all fernet produced globally? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Fernet con coca. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Fernet con coca), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Ways to improve Clyde Bawden
Hello, Bleff,
Thank you for creating Clyde Bawden.
Thanks for this work. If you'd let me take an opportunity to clarify notability for musicians, albums and tracks: articles that simply report performance dates, release information or track listings. Could we look to more robust references for this article?

I believe that you have added a lot of content that has been translated from es-wiki, without attribution. This needs to be fixed. You can do this, by following the instructions at
Going forward, please make sure that for every edit you make to
Content in this edit is translated from the Spanish Wikipedia article at [[:es:Travesti (identidad de género)]]; see its history for attribution.
There is a question in my mind about how to handle the attribution, given that the history in the original article has disappeared after the A5 deletion. I will seek additional assistance on this point, and get back to you, or you can follow along or contribute to the discussion
]- Oh, and I have one question for you. Can you explain what the content of the page User:Bleff/sandbox3 (permalink) is? Did you write this? Copy it from someplace? Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 01:04, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Mathglot, I am sorry for the confusion. I am the writer of the original Spanish-language "Travesti (identidad de género)" article that you are mentioning, so I figured that I didn't need to attribute myself. I developed the article on my user sandbox on the Spanish-language Wikipedia for some months, and you can see that here. I then created the article which was unfortunately deleted almost immediately, which was a great shame for me and I considered tremendously unfair. Now, in order not to discard all that effort, I decided that it would be best to adapt that content for the article in English (Travesti (gender identity)), which has existed for a quite a time and has various issues; I copied and pasted the Spanish text in User:Bleff/sandbox3 to work more comfortably in the translation and adaptation of sources. Please let me know if i'm doing things wrong. Regards, --Bleff (talk) 15:22, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, Bleff, thanks for your comment. If you wrote the original Spanish article, I think you might be right about the attribution. I think you're doing everything okay, but I'll get back to you. One thing, though: the existing article was in pretty terrible shape even before you got there. Large chunks of it are completely unsourced, and sound like someone's personal anecdote. All that stuff has to come out. That doen'ts mean you're responsible for it, I'm just saying, that you shouldn't feel shy about just removing and replacing the current content with your content, as long as your content is properly sourced. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 18:34, 26 September 2020 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Ni una menos.png
![](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/15/Ambox_warning_pn.svg/32px-Ambox_warning_pn.svg.png)
Thanks for uploading File:Ni una menos.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing
<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 15:20, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:People from Argentina.png.
This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in

Undisclosed paid editing
![Information icon](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/2/28/Information.svg/25px-Information.svg.png)
Hello Bleff. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Bleff. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Bleff|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 198.52.183.144 (talk) 04:10, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
