I think you messed up on the subway transfer templates on that article. If you look closely, it shows there is a full-time transfer icon to the Q at Prince, 8th, 23rd and 28th Streets when the Q only serves those station during late nights. Can you fix it?

You are invited to join the Wikimedia NYC community for our monthly "WikiWednesday" evening salon (7-9pm) and knowledge-sharing workshop at Babycastles gallery by 14th Street / Union Square in Manhattan. I was wondering what was your rationale for having the A and C lines combined into one route map. My take on it is that even though they essentially operate along the same route during the day, with one being express and one being local, they are both different services and should be treated as such. It isn't like the J/Z in which the latter is just a skip-stop clone. Just my two cents on the matter. —LRG5784 (talk · contribs · email) 22:38, 13 July 2017 (UTC)

@LRG5784: It's more about laziness on my part since the C and Rock Park Shuttle duplicate parts of the A in their entirety. For that reason, the W route map is part of the N. I could split the A and C maps, but it would make little difference since all C stops are on the A map. epicgenius (talk) 01:09, 14 July 2017 (UTC)

@Epicgenius: Ha, it's all good man. I would understand from your POV completely as it is a time consuming process but I am very impressed by the effort you put into it.
In the case of the N and W, I understand completely as to why you would combine the two and make one map from them, as the W, even though it has its own timetable separate from the N, is essentially a local version of the N (according to the MTA's system pick sheets, the W trips are just N train short turns that operate local in Manhattan. So in that case it makes sense for the N and W maps to be merged, but for the A and the C, seeing how they have two separate schedules both internally and what's made available to the public, it would make sense for them to have their own maps. —LRG5784 (talk · contribs · email) 01:19, 14 July 2017 (UTC)

@LRG5784: Thanks for appreciating my hard work. I'm glad to hear that. Anyway, I'll split the C map from the A after the maps for the 2, 3, and 5 are finished. On the last Sunday of every month, the Boardroom at Ace Hotel New York hosts Action Equals History — a unique opportunity for New Yorkers to learn hands-on in a technology training/workshop session about the mechanics, practices and benefits of Wikipedia and the Wikimedia projects.
