Hello, FunksBrother. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Harlots (TV series), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hi FunksBrother, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on

Feel free to improve the map. I believe it's just generated by one of the infobox parameters using the location? Have a look into it, I'm not too sure myself. --Lewis Cawte (Talk) 21:21, 23 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Lewis Cawte, I was able to solve it myself. Just add:

to any infobox. FunksBrother (talk) 19:11, 26 October 2017 (UTC)

I'm working on the TFA blurb. Would it be more accurate to say the Vikings "became the first team ever with an NFL regular season record of 15–1 that did not go on to win the Super Bowl", or "... record of 15–1 or better ...", or "... with only one loss ..."? - Dank (push to talk) 23:39, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Dank Make it clear to the reader. Go with the first quote. This citation confirms it. Keep in mind that 1984 San Francisco 49ers won the Super Bowl with a regular season record of 15-1 and so did the 1985 Chicago Bears. Meanwhile the more recent 2015 Carolina Panthers went 15-1 only to lose in the Super Bowl. FunksBrother (talk) 23:50, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks much. - Dank (push to talk) 23:56, 16 January 2018 (UTC)

Picway Power Plant coordinates
The coordinates you put in the Picway Power Plant article were highly precise, but inaccurate in that they missed the power plant. Where did you obtain them? I am trying to get a handle on the proliferation of inaccurate but strangely precise coordinates on Wikipedia. Abductive (reasoning) 03:02, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Abductive is using Google Maps for the coordinates bad? If so, is there a Wikipedia guideline for adding coordinates for articles? FunksBrother (talk) 03:12, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
- How do you obtain the coords? Copying-and-pasting, but from where? Right-clicking doesn't work for me.
- Anyways, WP:OGC is the guideline. I personally use Wikimapia because one can toggle between Google's map, satellite, terrain views and Bing's maps too. Plus Wikimapia gives the coordinates the reticle is pointed at as you move around. Abductive (reasoning) 03:18, 14 May 2018 (UTC)]
Killen Station
No, sorry, no other photos. Aside from National Register images, I don't keep any wiki-photos on my computer long-term, so any others I took would be in Commons:Category:Monroe Township, Adams County, Ohio if there were any, but there aren't. Nyttend (talk) 17:49, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
Coordinates of Conesville Power Plant
The coordinates you put in the Conesville Power Plant article were inaccurate in that they missed the power plant. Please check the coordinates you put in Wikipedia on an internet mapping service that has an aerial view. Inaccurate coordinates have an unfortunate tendency to proliferate, and it is incumbent on Wikipedia editors to check that they are not introducing mistakes onto Wikipedia. Abductive (reasoning) 04:53, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Abductive I will take your advice and start using mapper.acme.com in the future. I just used the site to search the coordinates for Northern Neck Regional Jail. The coordinates that mapper.acme.com gave me as its output is what I inputted into the article. FunksBrother (talk) 17:55, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

2019 US Banknote Contest
US Banknote Contest | ||
---|---|---|
November-December 2019 | ||
There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions |

Dang!
I follow U.S. politics quite closely and I somehow completely missed this. Quite a year we're living in when the arrest of a house speaker on RICO charges barely makes the news! Marquardtika (talk) 01:35, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Marquardtika: It might have not made news down in Texas, but it was big news here in the State of Ohio. The house speaker has been removed of their speakership.FunksBrother (talk) 02:22, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
