The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from

Nice job on the Paul Wade article. --Zpb52 06:19, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed, not a bad article, and good to see another prominent Socceroo and South Melbourne player get a page.
Non-Administrators
Hello, I don't mean to intrude, and if you don't wish to respond to my comment, that is entirely your right. However, please be aware that Wikipedia administrators and non-administrators alike are your allies in editing the encyclopedia, and it is always a good idea to treat other users in a respectful and open-minded manner, not dismissing them based on their status, even if you disagree with them or find their manner abrasive. Just a tip for future reference; if you're interested in further reading, see

Hi there. I noticed that you've done some work on the Australian ice hockey articles. I just wanted to stop by and let you know I've added the
{{ice hockey}} --(curly brackets with 'ice hockey' inside)
tag onto the talk pages of the articles I found. We're working to include ice hockey around the world !! Please drop by and see us, we'd love your help!! THANKS.

Hi Greg. I noticed you had created a few articles for red links I once added. I've listed 4 of your articles at Wikipedia:New articles (Australia) to help to alert fellow Australians to the new articles in case they have more info to add. If you create any more Australia-related articles, you might like to list them there, too. Thanks for the contributions. --Scott Davis Talk 08:16, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
1991 Australian GP
Hi - thanks for your additions to F1 articles. Are you sure about Karl Wendlinger being classified 20th at the 1991 Aussie GP? www.formula1.com has him as retired, although I am aware that that sites contains a number of errors. Cheers. --4u1e 07:21, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm fairly certain he didn't officially retire although I'm basing that information on the other articles I found at Wikipedia related to the subject. I might very well be wrong. Greg the White Falcon 04:55, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I am trying to introduce a club for rugby league supporters that will be more than just a wikiproject and help to encourage rugby league participation and article improvement. I have written down some of my thoughts about what wikileaguies should attempt to do and would be interested if you, like other rugby league supporters, would be willing to be involved on some level. Hi Greg Could you please incorporate references into your race stubs? Every race and venue is well covered by the media so if you can find a decent reference it should be easy to drop two references in at the time you create articles, that way they meet the requirements of

WikiProject Ice Hockey August 2007 Newsletter
WikiProject Ice Hockey Newsletter Dear Greg the White Falcon! You are receiving this newsletter because you have signed up as a member of WikiProject Ice Hockey. The purpose of this newsletter is to update on the goings on of the project, as there have been major changes, and a lot of new recognized content in the past few weeks. If you are an inactive user, you probably won't recognize the new and improved state of the WikiProject! From the project, Maxim. New recognized content By Maxim
Article Improvement
Diacritics By Maxim In the past few weeks, there has been quite heated discussion about the use of diacritics in article name. The current guideline is using diacritics in the pages of articles of all player names which require them, but redirects are exempt. Task forces By Maxim
This task force was initiated by Featured article status. It covers all Swedish clubs, leagues and competitions and associated articles, players and coaches that are Swedish, or have played/coached for a Swedish club, and arenas in Sweden. They plan to eventually operate as a sort of a sub-project, which will have its own articles for creation, ranking importance and quality of articles, and co-ordinate article improvement. Its current members are Krm500, Bamsefar75, and CLAES .
This task force was initiated by Featured Topic status. Although it currently meets the required article count, the task force wishes to improve it further. Its area of coverage is very similar to the Sweden Ice Hockey task force. Its members are Bsroiaadn, JHMM13, FutureNJGov, Sportskido8, Michael Greiner, JRWalko, and Soxrock .
Requested Images By Maxim WikiProject talk page, Serte created a page for Requested Images. The page encourages users to license images for use on articles. The page also has section to request images for players, arenas, game situations, miscellaneous, and team and league logos . The page has been quite popular; since it was created on July 21, there have been six completed requests. There are four currently outstanding requests:
