Welcome!

Hello, Gyu9, and

welcome to Wikipedia
! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Wikipedia and copyright

Control copyright icon Hello Gyu9, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Source Code Control System has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:16, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

September 2016

Information icon Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Source Code Control System— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Reverting edits

Hi Gyu9. When you revert another user's edits, like you did here, you need to stop and discuss the change on a Talk page. That's the rule for every Wikipedian: Never just re-insert the content without discussing it first. If you do, you can be blocked for edit-warring.
