Wikipedia has keystroke combinations that can speed up your work, like Alt+⇧ Shift+F to jump to the search box, Alt+⇧ Shift+E to edit, Alt+⇧ Shift+P to preview, Alt+⇧ Shift+S to publish your edits, and many more. Those are for Windows users. On the Mac OS, press Ctrl instead of Alt.

Hello, I'm FDW777. Your recent edit(s) to the page List of countries by GDP (nominal) per capita appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. FDW777 (talk) 21:25, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Imamul Ifaz! Your additions to
suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism
issues.
You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double
Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images.
non-free content criteria
in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 23:03, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

what is an acceptable source then? Imamul Ifaz (talk) 15:46, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And IMDB (which you spread copiously over Ferdous Ahmed) is NOT an acceptable source. Drmies (talk) 22:10, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
give the link of a website where i can take sources of an actors filmography and cite them. else im putting my citations back in. Imamul Ifaz (talk) 15:47, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ridley Jones, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. You cannot use these bad sources in a Wikipedia article. Please stop deliberately reinserting bad sources into Wikipedia articles. You have been warned by multiple editors over your sourcing practices.David Gerard (talk) 17:51, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
give the website names of the reliable sources then. else I'll carry on. you are no one to resist from editing Imamul Ifaz (talk) 21:40, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Competence is required - you need to be able to distinguish bad sources from good ones in a Wikipedia context - David Gerard (talk) 00:33, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply

Yes, I've read them and found no errors. You are misleading me and trying to shift the topic. Imamul Ifaz (talk) 21:40, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Then you are failing to have competence in estimating sourcing for Wikipedia. Again:
multiple editors are suggesting to you that you change your approach - I see that yet another editor has reverted your edit-warring on this basis. Please consider that perhaps it's you - David Gerard (talk) 13:36, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Sheikh Hasina. As this is a controversial article, there was a consensus to retain a status-quo version in the article's intro unless there is a consensus to change it. Please refer to the article's talkpage to see the discussion.Nomian (talk) 06:10, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is no guidelines in wikipedia to refrain editors from Editing controversial persons. It's the personal matter of the person or other individials. If you think I have put misinformation or edited based on hoax then you can change it with citing reference and adequete source. Thank you Imamul Ifaz (talk) 09:07, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is no harm in editing controversial articles but you are writing the article from your
unreliable sources which is against our policies. Please discuss your proposed changes in the talk page to achieve a consensus before changing the status quo. Since several other editors have pointed out your disruptive behavior, I think it would be best for you to listen to the cautions before engaging in another edit war. Thank you. I hope you don't mind for me to also remove stuffs with unreliable source Imamul Ifaz (talk) 18:59, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
