SVU seasons

Last time I checked, it was I who changed the infobox seasons, for the Monique Jeffries article - and my argument is not, I don't like it, as you'll read above, it's "what about the other seasons."? You'll point out that Jeffries only appeared in two seasons; which I'll then point out, what about Munch who has appeared in more than 2 seasons. By the way; Jeffries was a good article prior to the seasons in the infobox.

Now, also, you've moved our current discussion to your old talk page; do we continue there or here? --

R (Chat Me!) 04:38, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply
]

I'm not going to fight tooth and nail over linking seasons in infoboxes like you seem to be. My frustration comes from the fact I've run into you making unilateral contentious edits many times over the years. For instance, today you edit warred rather than actually ask me for reasoning if you didn't see the edit summary on John Munch. It's just the latest instance. Redfarmer (talk) 04:44, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Excuse me? I'm not fighting over this - frankly, this is Wikipedia, and not anything to fight over. I'm frusturated as well, hence why I'm taking this issue to you. Explain to me, what you mean by, "I've run into you making unilateral contentious edits many times over the years" - I've never had contact with you, prior to this issue... what are you talking about? And let's not dwelve into edit warring, because I'm sure you've heard, it "takes two to tango". --
R (Chat Me!) 04:48, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply
]
I didn't deny I also engaged in edit warring. Doesn't make it right, but I'm frustrated. And yes, you have encountered me every time, each time reverting one of my edits controversially without discussion. I've been lurking as an ip for years and decided I might as well start using the account again. (And no, that doesn't make me a
sockpuppet, like you once accused me of before.) Do what you want, I'm not going to sit here and engage in extended argument over two wiki links in an infobox. Redfarmer (talk) 04:56, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply
]
I have never reverted people, without an edit summary, barring by accidence. I will make that one clear. If you could, can you provide me, with where I accuse you of sockpuppeting? If I did actually accuse you, apologies for that, but why not just edit out of an account? why not use edit summaries either? I mean, these things, help others understand what you're trying to do. Forget the two seasons things; I'll let someone else pick up on that... --
R (Chat Me!) 05:01, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply
]
You accused me of being a sockpuppet (while editing as an ip) a while back on a discussion that I don't care to go back and find at the moment. I haven't been using an account because, up until now, most of my edits have been cursory. I've had very bad experiences on Wikipedia and wasn't sure if I'd ever come back permanently. I'm still not frankly, but I decided I wanted to recreate the Brian Cassidy article after someone did a good job of getting Monique Jeffries up to Good Article, and I need an account to get the photo up. And, frankly, edit summaries do very little when it seems like they're coming across as "this is how it is" commandments in place of discussion. Redfarmer (talk) 05:07, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Look, I have to suggest it. Can we just call things a truce? I mean, surprisingly enough, the second I saw your name re-appear I recognised it, and I was somewhat excited - because I personally, admire your work on the SVU related articles. Ever since people like you and User:AnmaFinotera left, the SVU area of Wikipedia has been more quiet, and things have been slower.
What I'm trying to say is, I work better - and I'd assume others do to - if we worked together, by communicating with eachother on what we are trying to do. We all want the same thing at the end of the day, and that's for Wikipedia to work out. I'm sorry, for whatever I had done in the past, that may have insulted you and or annoyed you; I do however look forward to working with you on Wikipedia, in particular with SVU related articles, because you seem really passionate about SVU articles - and whoever is passionate with SVU related articles, I get along with and enjoy working with! Apologies, --

Disambiguation link notification for October 6

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited John Munch, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spin off (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Using this photo violates

#2 criterion: never affecting commercial opportunities. This image is sold commercially, especially in NBCU Photo Bank (photo). Since then, I will upload the newer, cheaper screenshot of the cast soon, but it might omit one or more cast member, but it's better than using a highly-profitable photo. --George Ho (talk) 06:02, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply
]

If I am in error please correct it. This photo was uploaded a number of years ago when the image was publicly distributed on the L&O web site. Probably none of us were even aware of the existence of the NBC Universal Photo Bank back then. Redfarmer (talk) 15:25, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Another solution might be if you can get a screenshot of the three cops and the three prosecutors together. Redfarmer (talk) 15:33, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'll upload an image soon, but I don't have an image of one chief (female/male) and one District Attorney together. You won't see an image of Steven Hill together with cops. --George Ho (talk) 15:44, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
File:Law Order season nineteen.jpg, but it's poor quality. However, File:Law & Order Season 19.jpg is tagged for speedy deletion due to invalid fair use. If you have no objections against deletion, then I'll tag it with {{db-g7}}. Thoughts? --George Ho (talk) 15:57, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No objection. You seem to have done your research thoroughly. Thanks for taking the time to extend me the courtesy of a response, though. It's greatly appreciated! Redfarmer (talk) 16:31, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
