PaP is like Forza Nuova???

in Power to the People (Italy) there are the Communist Refoundation Party, the Italian Communist Party, the Other Europe Tspiras, NoTAV, NoTAP, NoMUOS and hundreds of other associations and movements ... if all this is for you as a "new force" ... I can only take note of your ideological cancellations!--Delehaye (talk) 17:23, 7 January 2018 (UTC)--Delehaye (talk) 17:23, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Delehaye: Of course FN is a group of stupid and violent neo-fascists (in my humble opinion), but I compared PaP to CPI and FN because it isn't listed in any opinion poll. Moreover we shouldn't insert in the infobox parties (or coalitions) that hadn't any deputies or senators (like PaP, CPI and FN). I didn't say that PaP is similar to New Force, but simply that putting it in the infobox wouldn't be correct... -- Nick.mon (talk) 17:55, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
then you should enter ONLY the data and photographs concerning the major coalition parties (1 by coalition, ie the one that will express the leader of the coalition) and the major parties that will run alone ... and NOT even the internal parties to the various coalitions ...--Delehaye (talk) 18:07, 7 January 2018 (UTC)--Delehaye (talk) 18:07, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No, nobody decided anything about redundancy, without sourced discussion. Two parties from same country have nothing more in common than any other world party, and on English Wikipedia, anthem sound is used in fairly tens of articles. --ThecentreCZ (talk) 16:38, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@ThecentreCZ: Well, Checco reverted your edits, Mélencron did the same, I'm not the only one who thinks that the audio file is quite redundant and useless. -- Nick.mon (talk) 17:51, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Nick.mon: I did reverted the edit of other two users, which was reverted. Tell me, how imporatant is for example name of every newspaper of exact political party? It is not but it have information values. Users, whose started amending party anthems and even added this data in the infobox, thought differently very long time ago. --ThecentreCZ (talk) 18:08, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@ThecentreCZ: Can we discuss about that on the appropriate talk page? However, I'm not against the anthem, I'm "against" the file, which enlarges inordinately the infobox. -- Nick.mon (talk) 18:11, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is Vandalism, please stop!

Please explain. Why do you think that the 2018 Italian General Election not take place? No, this is not a silly question. You are accusing me of "vandalism." How is it vandalism? The election happened and the Italian Democratic Party got 17% of the vote. There is a fight among all the parties over who's going to get power, and it's chaos. The prime minister's predecessor, Matteo Renzi, who just resigned, has decided to come back and chastise some members for negotiating with the Five Star Movement. The League is feuding with the Neo-Burlosconi party and nobody has a clue how it's going to turn out. It's nearly as bad as when the Christian Democrats had a revolving door ministry (prime minister of the week) back before Burlosconi took over the first time. How is that NOT chaos? Jeez! If you want to help, GREAT! But don't just blank the page and say....oh, this is vandalism. It's NOT!!!! Arglebargle79 (talk) 21:47, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Arglebargle79: Saying "the new electoral law designed to prevent the Five Star Movement from taking power" is vandalism, simply because it's your own opinion, without any source to prove it; and writing about "chaos" and "collapse", well maybe it's true but isn't absolutely encyclopedic. -- Nick.mon (talk) 21:51, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if you asked me to add a few references or looked them up yourself, that would be fine. but you didn't. BTW, if you go here you will notice that it is no opinion. Arglebargle79 (talk) 21:56, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Arglebargle79: The law penalizes the M5S because it legitimately refuse to create pre-electoral coalitions, as it penalize all the other parties which run alone. -- Nick.mon (talk) 21:58, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, but M5S was the only one getting over two percent of the vote, so in fact, it targeted them and them alone while pretending not to. It's not my opinion, it's a fact. BTW, I added referencesArglebargle79 (talk) 22:05, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Question

Why do you claim for "truth" [sic]? It is not formulated as statement of fact (as neither the former evaluation it counters), but as assessment (which also happens to come from a qualified author de:Jan-Werner Müller). Best regards.--Asqueladd (talk) 14:52, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Asqueladd: Well, my main focus was to remove a completely not encyclopedic sentence, like when you write using abbreviations or when you insert quote like "conveniently forgotten" like if the main newspapers wanted deliberately discredit Conte and his cabinet, and frankly it's not true :) -- Nick.mon (talk) 16:51, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, there is a kind of synth I didn't notice about the newspapers, but isolated, it may work perfectly as encyclopedic sentence (abbreviations aside). It is not fringe but made by one of the foremost scholars on "populism". I've read anyways similar takes on the issue of Berlusconi predating this government by Duncan McDonnell and Cas Mudde. If it is needed, I'll try to find them.--Asqueladd (talk) 17:30, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Asqueladd: No problem, we can keep your edit, but maybe we could remove "conveniently forgotten" (which, I repeat, according to me is quite biased) and stating: "while other important authors and political commentators like Müller, McDonnell and Mudde, did not agree, considering Berlusconi's governments the first real populist cabinets in Western Europe", but this is only a proposal. However INMHO Berlusconi was a sort of "classical populist" leader but he was (or better is) quite different from Salvini and the new populists who are shocking Europe in these years. -- Nick.mon (talk) 11:15, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I agree. It's probably for the best to get to the point without bringing a literal quote. I am in no rush. I've found this one for Mudde ([2]). For McDonnell I am still trying to find a proper source (only a tweet so far). Regards---Asqueladd (talk) 11:33, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Silvio Berlusconi

So my problem with the image is that the white bar of your tricolore is curved, as if it is a folded page--indeed, when I first glanced at it I thought the picture was a scan of a folded page, but it's obviously not, but then there's this difference between the non-distorted face and the "distorted" background. If it hadn't been white it wouldn't seem so odd. Anyway, I'm not going to mess with it, it's your call, but you responded with an edit summary so I thought I'd leave you a note as well. @Drmies: Yes maybe the photo’s background isn’t the best one, but I sincerely think it’s quite better than the others. However we can absolutely discuss about it, there’re no problems :) -- Nick.mon (talk) 21:30, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Meh--your call, like I said, but I wanted to explain why I thought it wasn't so great. There are a lot of things I'd want to discuss--pastries at Lake Garda, why Italians are such terrible drivers (!!!), whatever happened to Baggio and why did he have that hairdo, how I can get the DVD for La Piovra, but Berlusconi is not on my list, haha. Take care, Drmies (talk) 22:26, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hey can I borrow $150 from you? :0 Drmies (talk) 22:30, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Drmies: Yes, you’re right, we should improve our driver style 😂 Well, Berlusconi’s hairdo is a real mistery, far more embarrassing than Trump’s one. Wow 150$ for “La Piovra”, I've never seen that TV series but it seems a bit too expensive, but we known, Italian products aren't so cheap 😅 -- Nick.mon (talk) 07:18, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

PSd'Az

It's right that black is one of their colours, by the Flag of Sardinia, but PATT and SVP have their colors from CSP/ÖVP and DZP/Union, and they use their color is customary green (e.g. Lega Nord is green although blue is the official color) Braganza (talk) 21:15, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Braganza: Yes, you're right, but if we can use an official color, I think we should do it. I sincerely don't know why PSd'Az has been represented with green, in so many articles here on en.Wiki; its official colors are quite clear. -- Nick.mon (talk) 21:45, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Election pages

This RfC recently closed with the consensus to move the year to the front of the page names for election articles. There isn't yet "consistency" in the titles because there are many of these pages to move. You can help by moving pages that you come across that have yet to be moved. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:55, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Muboshgu: Oh sorry, I didn't know that :) Ok, when I can I will change them. -- Nick.mon (talk) 21:00, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Great. I figured it was an honest mistake. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:40, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Color of the candidate

--Broncoviz (talk) 22:02, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
