If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. Note, if you did create this file, you may want to upload it to Wikimedia Commons, which will allow the image to be accessed by all Wikimedia Foundation projects (which include the various localized versions of Wikipedia)
If you did not create this media file, please understand that the vast majority of images found on the internet are not appropriate for Wikipedia. Most content on the internet is copyrighted and the creator of the image has exclusive rights to use it. Wikipedia respects the copyrights of others - do not upload images that violate others' copyrights. In certain limited cases, we may be able to use an image under a claim of fair use - if you are certain that fair use would apply here, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list. If no fair use rationale applies, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Angus McLellan (Talk) 23:34, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Fair use rationale for File:Alex Tudor-Hart 1936.gif
Thanks for uploading or contributing to
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:30, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi there, I've reverted your the inclusion your new article Health crisis into all the article that you recently added it. There are a number of the issues with the new article that other users have been put on the main page, which I suggest are resolved prior to linking it to well established article. It should also be noted that a lot of the articles you targeted have a very tenuous link to your new article, and the mass addition of your article into the see also could be seen as trying to promote it's notability, via what links here. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch. Regards Khukri 14:16, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

Copyright problem: Quaternary prevention
Hello, and
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under license allowed by Wikipedia, then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author to release the text under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Quaternary prevention and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". Make sure you quote the exact page name, Quaternary prevention, in your email. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permissionfor instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted "under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), version 3.0", or that the material is released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Quaternary preventionwith a link to where we can find that note.
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the GNU Free Documentation License, and note that you have done so on Talk:Quaternary prevention. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into another page. In this case, you copied content from El Médico to Reynier Casamayor Griñán.
While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination.
The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:23, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
- Hello, Raimundo. Your comment on my talk page is in Spanish; when on the English-language Wikipedia, please always use English, no matter to whom you address your comments. This is so that comments may be comprehensible to the community at large. If the use of another language is unavoidable, please provide a translation of the comments. For more details, see Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines.
- As best as I can determine, your note at my talk page deals with the best title for the article. The title of the article is not the issue- the issue is that content on Wikipedia is not public domain, and you cannot copy it from one page to another without violating copyright unless you provide necessary attribution. This is a legal requirement, not simply a local policy - it is true of all content on every language Wikipedia. There are methods for doing this.
- Please let me know if you cannot understand me. I will try to find a translator to assist. (Por favor, hágamelo saber si usted no me puede entender. Voy a tratar de encontrar un traductor para ayudar.) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:28, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
- You are welcome to create a disambiguation if the page meets Wikipedia:Disambiguation. Just, please, be sure if copying content from one page to another to provide proper attribution. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:11, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 15
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Paragliding, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jaén. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please stop!
Please stop adding see also links to that weird list that you just created. None of them is actually apropriate and the "list" itself is just a linkfarm of external links, not an encyclopedic list. Thanks. --Randykitty (talk) 20:39, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
Hello, Raimundo Pastor. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started,
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. —Swpbtalk 21:00, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Dysarthria does not have an edit summary. It seems you are Spanish. If you can't comfortably supply Edit Summaries (in English), then I suggest you stick to editing Spanish Wikipedia. Isn't that fair?
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Trafford09 (talk) 23:17, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of List of biological development disorders
The article List of biological development disorders has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No references. No context on what any of this means.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bgwhite (talk) 22:26, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
