Hi Robin. I would like to know why you removed the following points from the article: :)
- The entire folder tree view in the navigation pane cannot be collapsed as could be done in Windows Explorer on Windows Vista.
- Selection of multiple items is not retained across back and forward navigation.
They are unreferenced I know but not inaccurate. Let me clarify:
- In Windows Vista Explorer, this entire folder tree could be collapsed/expanded vertically all the way to the bottom by dragging it or by clicking the v button. You could just keep Favorites. This is gone in Windows 7. Now you have to turn off the navigation pane entirely including Favorites.
- On Windows Vista or Windows XP, select multiple items in the right pane of Explorer. Now click another folder in the left pane of Explorer. Then click Back. Notice how when you are taken back, the selection of items is restored in the right pane. It no longer works in Windows 7 because of the different control used for Explorer views. - xpclient Talk 07:20, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
