A tag has been placed on section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing .
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. Restoration of the Byzantine Empire
Hello! It is always nice to see new Byzantine articles, but I strongly urge you to read up more on the issue, because the article you created is rife with errors and over-generalizations. The Angeloi had nothing to do with the Nicaean Empire, Romania did not exist in the 13th century and the Palaiologoi had nothing to do with it, Theodore Doukas was the Despot of Epirus and not the Nicaean commander at Pelagonia, there was no siege of Constantinople in 1261, etc. Creating new articles is good, but not when they have to be rewritten wholesale to be accurate. Then they are worse than useless, because they cast a bad light on Wikipedia. Constantine ✍ 19:58, 17 August 2011 (UTC)

I also note that to date you've not replied to a single person on this talk page and haven't posted to any article talk page except to contest deletion. , but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:27, 2 March 2012 (UTC)- Please take the opportunity of this block to read up on Wikipedia's policies regarding copying content from previously published sources.
- Looking at the history of your contributions, you have been liberal in doing this, copying from both public domain and copyright protected publications. Except for brief and clearly marked quotations, you can never do the latter. The former, you may, but you are required to note that you are copying from the public domain source in compliance with Wikipedia:Plagiarism. For instance, it would have been fine for you to copy Adley H. Gladden, but you did not credit your public domain source (another contributor cleaned up after you). It's also okay for you to copy content from on Wikipedia article to another, as you have done several times, but because Wikipedia's articles are no more public domain than those of the Texas Historical Society, you are violating copyright if you do so without credit.
- I have opened a contributor copyright investigation to invite community assistance in properly attributing content we may retain and removing any we may not. That investigation is listed at Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/Scarfaced Charley.
- Please review Wikipedia:Copy-paste. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and if you persist in violating copyright policies after your block expires, your account may be blocked indefinitely. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:46, 2 March 2012 (UTC)]
I've extended the duration of your block to indefinite in light of the seriousness of the copyright violations which have been found as part of the contributor copyright investigation and the large number of warnings you ignored. You may appeal the block using the method noted above if you wish. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content.
