Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Deletion of your userpage

Hi Terraflorin

Thanks for your link on my talkpage to your comment at the CFD discussion on Category:User:Terraflorin.

I am sorry that your userpage was deleted, and I have now restored it.

WP:CFD discussions, and it does a brilliant job, with over 4 million edits in the last 8 years. However, this case seems to have revealed a little bug in cydebot, where it seems to have been confused by the presence of two colons in the name of the category, which made it look like there were two namespaces
involved. I will notify the bot owner about this, and hopefully he will be able to fix it.

Sorry again for the inconvenience. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:53, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Beleiutz

Hello Terraflorin. I see that over on Romanian Wikipedia you have been contacted by an anonymous IP user and asked to edit the Delia Matache article here on English Wikipedia on his behalf. In case you are not already aware, this is a sockpuppet User:Beleiutz, a serial copyright violator who is obsessed with promoting certain Romanian celebrities. Delia Matache and several other articles here are protected because of his disruption. Please do not make any edits on his behalf. It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Hello. I have been working through every help page on Wikipedia, trying to ensure text and images all reflect the recent switch from the Save changes button to Publish changes. I see that you either created or at least uploaded this image for Articles for Creation help: c:File:Creating an article with AfC.png. I was wondering whether you would be able to prepare an updated screenshot showing the new, blue 'Publish changes' button instead of the old grey one? To be honest - it's not a huge priority as the image now seems mostly only used on foreign language wikis - but getting the button colour right would be really good. Many thank for your help. Lawrence, son of Kemény

Dear Terraflorin! On 14 May 2020, You added info to the article Lawrence of Transylvania, which suggests that this nobleman acted as military commander in the Banate of Severin during a Bulgarian invasion in 1259-60. However, my sources say that commander was a namesake contemporary, Lawrence, son of Kemény, so I moved text and two references into that article (I will expand the newly created article soon). During the attack, this Lawrence served as Ban of Severin. Unfortunately, there were four or five Lawrence in those decades, who elevated into royal dignities, and it is difficult to distinguish them. For instance, Lawrence of Transylvania himself later also served as Ban of Severin (in 1263). If your sources might say differently (Fine, Madgearu), please feel free to contact me. Cheers, --Norden1990 (talk) 20:31, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Diamond Drill

Notice

The article

The Diamond Drill has been proposed for deletion
because of the following concern:

A search brings up very little to establish that this short story is independently notable of its author. The printing in the Year's Best SF collection is a sign towards notability, but not enough to establish notability in and of itself.

deleted for any of several reasons

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Kepler-209

Hello, Terraflorin, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Devonian Wombat, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created,

Kepler-209, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kepler-209
.

You might like to note that such

our guide
about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Devonian Wombat}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
