I noticed that you have listed yourself as an atheist Wikipedian. You will probably be interested to know that
I thought taking demographics out would resolve the issue. What is wrong with trying to resolve the issue.
Who cares if men are older; you are sexist, racist and ageist; it is inappropriate. Why don't you join the KKK.
Gays have nothing to do with mail order brides; who cares what gay paople do? Someone looking up mail order brides has no interest in gays.
I am trying to compromise; I took out the how to prevent fraud, and I merged the demographics; but you refuse to compromise one bit

Hi Grace, I think you should add the comments that you put on my user page to the mediator page. It adds weight to the case that he should be banned, both by name and IP address. People like him ruin Wikipedia for everyone else, even more so than casual vandals. Gavin 16:57, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
"Please mediate the "Mail Order Bride" article. I have attempted to make this article factual and based on accurate information and sources. Some people including a "Famous Movie Director" has used this article to make political viewpoints. Some of the things she has done: Deleted 1) sections where I include the male-female ratios of countries with sources such as the CIA Factbook and a number of scholarly articles that discuss migration of people to find mates, The origin of the word mail order bride is deemed offensive by her, she insists on including antecdotal cases of abuse and deletes statistical facts that show actual abuse, she deleted sections on how some mail order brides commit marriage fraud, she insists on discussing "gay mail order brides" depsite there being none and having nothing to do with the article, and so on ... Please help resolve this. I will be happy to present my article for review and you can look and hers to decide who has less of a POV. This has been going on for months. We tried a poll, I tried discussing, compromising, etc... She has her one way of seeing the world and that is it; no one else's viewpoint is allowed. She has made many threats towards me and others. I have included everyone's viewpoints even if I disagreed as long as it was related to the article. Thank you. Michaellovesnyc 01:07, 1 June 2006 (UTC) michaellovesnyc"

Thanks, I really appreciate that. I got so frustrated editing this very article because of various trolls, at times, that I swore it off. Hi there! I removed that reference to Bush, because if it is verifyable, we should be able to find something on the internet from a reputable source which substantiates it. Otherwise, that bit of information is not particularly useful. Perhaps a journalist asked him publically about the book? --HappyCamper 15:17, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Hello Grace!
Thanks for your very hospitable welcome to Wikipedia. I really appreciate it!
I've already got to work improving some Wikipedia articles, as you might have already noticed. I'm sure the general guidelines for editing pages will make themselves clear as time passes, but I'll make sure I check out the New Contributors Help Page if I strike a hurdle of some sort. See you later!

You added the NPOV tag to the article, Fulla (doll) in the popularity section because you said it sounded like an advertisement. Would you mind telling me how to improve the status of that section so it has a netural point of view and doesn't sound like an advertisement? --71.118.87.141 01:55, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I think I fixed all the NPOV problems on that section of the article...are there any other problems with the section? And on the subject of getting a Wikipedia account, I'll consider it. --71.105.10.216 23:58, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi!
Hi, Grace - I saw your opinion on the non-mainstream theories AfD and just wanted to say hello. I've been on WP for a year or so and have noticed POV pushing to attack material that is different, particularly if it supports a spiritual worldview. One reason to change the name of the list was to devalue the theories and concepts on it. Recently, an interesting article on a theory of reality, the CTMU, was deleted from Wikipedia in spite of the fact that it had wide media coverage, been written up in Popular Science and gets over 15,000 ghits on the otherwise obscure exact phrase "Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe". It was a witch-hunt. The article will be back because the theory continues to gain credibility and popularity, but I just brought it up as an example of the censorship that goes on at Wikipedia. Btw, I saw some great books on your reading list. Thanks for posting it! DrL 14:19, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

Come hang out at #wikimedia-gendergap if that subject interests you. We hope this channel can serve as a safe haven to hang out, talk about Wiki, brainstorming, women in Wikimedia, article alerts and foster friendships. I hope you join us! (And if you need any IRC help, just let me know!) See you there!
