Five-Timers Club
For some reason you keep deleting my addition to the page. This is important information. The names I added are the only 6 people that can become Five-Timers at this point. Anyone reading the page would be curious to know who might be next. These 6 people have all hosted four times. I cited a webpage that was previously sourced to this page as proof.
Why would adding this information have some objection? It is all facts that tie directly to the page it is on. SNL host fan (talk) 01:18, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- SNL host fan, I posted this on your talk page, but I'll put it here since you have started a discussion on this page. Please stop adding content about four-timers. Multiple editors have objected to its inclusion and you have been asked to discuss it on the talk page and try to get consensus. Also, even if consensus were to include the content, the heading "Future Five Timers" is inappropriate because there's no way to know if any of them will ever host again. Btw, the source you're using (snl.jt.org/guest) is not reliable and cannot be used. Interestingly, someone started a talk page thread about that source last year. But the problem is not about sourcing or speculation, as you think. It is simply about whether the content is worthy of inclusion in the article. You will need to get consensus on the article's talk page, so please stop continually adding the contact after other editors have objected to it. So far, you are using your account for one purpose only and it is starting to become a problem. --76.189.111.2 (talk) 02:24, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- Btw, there was a discussion between two editors about this on the article's talk page in November. Perhaps there are enough editors who will agree that four-timers should be included; those who think it would be interesting and important enough to know who's one show away from making the list. But again, you need to get consensus for that. 76.189.111.2 (talk) 02:41, 12 March 2013 (UTC)

Your removal of "the late" from numerous articles
Would you care to explain how "the late" is an honorific? It's not a style with regards to manner of address nor is it a title for a person. It's standard convention in English to reference a deceased person X as "the late" X (as you well know by the all the articles you have unilaterally removed "the late" from) but that doesn't make it an honorific by any definition I know of.
Furthermore, let's say you're right,
- You can't make that judgment call to say that it's an "effective" honorific. It either is or isn't. I don't know of any convention or standard or even any professional writer that restricts usage of "the late" to only those they have positive feelings for.
- You doubt people would use it with Saddam Hussein or Kim Jong-Il? You're wrong, here are some examples:

- As you can see, it's standard convention. The exception from MOS:HONORIFIC applies here, not that I'm saying it is an honorific, I maintain it isn't. But from your point of view it is, so with regards to your argument, the exception applies. I don't know what you're talking about when you say it's to express positive feelings. Whether or not all the deceases should have their names appended with this is irrelevant to the issue of you removing "the late" from the articles that you already have.Transcendence (talk) 04:36, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

West Holmes High School
Refrain from removing useful information from "West Holmes High School." I am generally the only individual who updates the article. I DO NOT appreciate the removal of information for no valid reason. If you feel that a particular portion of the article needs to be revised, then discuss the situation in an adult-oriented manner. Otherwise, refrain from vandalizing an article that already needs more improvement!

Branded Content
I don't think it's self promoting. All information added to the page has been properly sourced and cited, it gives a picture of Branded Content historical development, and written to state the fact, that Branded Content has been acknowledged as a serious creative tool in the advertising and media industry. This can not be done without, mentioning names of industry leaders and organisations.I'm open for your point view, but please more constructive instead of just removing the content. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jan godsk (talk • contribs) 07:47, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
Logos
Trivialist: "the logo is a very small part of the subject, and not worth its own link". Then it is completely not worth any effort -- which is greater than linking -- to upload to WP and add images to the article. Please, go and remove every image every where on WP. --Spshu (talk) 22:03, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- O and you have spend lots more time removing these harmless links then it is worth, since you value it so lowly. --Spshu (talk) 22:05, 2 July 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Marvin Glass and Associates, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gaylord (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Censorship vs interested editing of Wikipedia
Hi Trivialist,
You reverted my edit to "Internet Censorship".
I think that there's a reasonable definition, something like: editing the public record, in order to suppress some correct piece of information.
What word do you think it should be attached to?
If that was being done to Wikipedia, where on Wikipedia do you think it should be documented?

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
I know that it is non-free, it says on an image page! All images in Who Framed Roger Rabbit article are non-free, they are fair use! Like the ones you just deleted from a bunch of articles without much thought that i tried to save... It takes time to upload an image or make a meaningful contribution, takes nothing to cut and claim afterward that you have scored! Best --Murus (talk) 02:11, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
- Non-free contentcan be used in articles only if:
- Its usage would be considered fair use in United States copyright law and also complies with the Non-free content criteria;
- It is used for a purpose that cannot be fulfilled by free material (text or images, existing or to be created); and
- It has a valid rationale indicating why its usage would be considered fair use within Wikipedia policy and US law.
The article already has several non-free images. You can't add non-free images to articles just to "score." Trivialist (talk) 02:17, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
- I have read Non-free content before, thank you very much! By the way, all images that you deleted were marked as orphaned and I specifically mentioned it! Just a thought, it looks like you have appointed yourself a final arbitrator on how many fair-use images can be incorporated into articles? Regards --Murus (talk) 02:41, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
