A barnstar for you

The Dutch Barnstar of National Merit
For adding some fifty well presented articles about villages in the Netherlands over the past few weeks. An impressive achievement.--Ipigott (talk) 09:27, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Women in Red

Hi there, W.G.J., and welcome to Women in Red. The reason I started reviewing and assessing your articles was that I noticed you had added the WiR template to your user page. I then saw that you have already written four biographies of Dutch women. If you can continue along the same lines as you have for villages, you'll soon be an outstanding member of the project. Your level of editing is high but you might nevertheless find it useful to look through our essays, perhaps starting with the Primer. If you would like others to see your interest in covering women, you should sign up under "New registrations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 11:51, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for this, just signed up as a new member. I am definitely planning on writing more biographies on women politicians in the future, possibly also extending to politicians from countries other than the Netherlands. Thanks again! 𝕎.𝔾.𝕁. (chat | contribs) 12:12, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That sounds good. There are lots of women politicians from the Netherlands and elsewhere who need to be covered. If you have no particular individuals in mind, you can always browse through our Redlist index, for example Policians by country based on Wikidata.--Ipigott (talk) 13:52, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hiya - thanks for the new article (now marked as 'reviewed' and so searchable), but you might consider throwing a project tag or two on the talk page - that way, other editors interested in relevant project areas can see the piece and contribute to it! Hey--goed werk, bedankt. Are you familiar with

WP:DYK? It shouldn't take a lot of work to get this on the front page--the politics section needs to be beefed up; I imagine there is paperwork that they had to fill out, and there may be reports on that, and of course the shortened timeline may be relevant too. Are there projections on how many votes they might get? (Haha laten we De Hond buiten beschouwing laten.) And how many of these right-wing splinter parties are there? DYK also needs a hook, a catchy factoid to attract readers. You've written a bunch of articles already: let's bring this into the spotlight. Drmies (talk) 16:15, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply
]

Dag Drmies, dankjewel! I am not very familiar with
WP:DYK but I will look into that. Because of the relative novelty of the party there is not much news published yet that thoroughly covers the party. As with the projections, I sincerely think the party is not doing really well and will not do really well (ongeacht de Hond of wat dan ook hahaha). Nonetheless, I can start to think of a DYK fact. Maybe something that talks about the party's history of being a activist organization attempting to gain ground in politics. 𝕎.𝔾.𝕁. (chat | contribs) 08:38, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply
