If you want the references to show up at the bottom of the page, you have to use not only the reference tags, but also use either the <references/> or the {{Reflist}} tags.

Sixth and a Half Avenue

At this time "Sixth and a Half Avenue" is simply a nickname for a short mid-block pedestrian mall. It is not the actual name of an actual avenue, so please do not add it to any other articles as a "crossing" for east-west streets. Beyond My Ken (talk) 07:14, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your concern and your interpretation. It is a named street by city officials, regardless of how strange that is. Please use article's talk page to discuss more. Z22 (talk) 19:10, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please provide a citTION for where the pedestrian corridor is carried on the city's rolls as "Sixth and a Half Avenue"? Not, that is, a city officially referring to it as such informally, but something official. Thanks. Beyond My Ken (talk) 23:30, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, continuing discussion on the article's talk page. Please watch that page to help improve the article. Thanks a lot. Z22 (talk) 02:35, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It will be great if you can start the process as you seem to be better at articulating the issue on dispute in a neutral way. Let me know I can help further on this. Hello Z22. Thank you very much for your support, with Aadaams, about this "edit war", and for the consensus you try hard to obtain.
It seams that, at last, a consensus has been accepted by my opponents. Their sentence now has no more sense and relationship with its chapter, but maybe are they happy with that.
Unfortunately, the same guy decided now to attack the "Land speed record" article, I entirely remade two years ago...
Best regards. --FlyAkwa (talk) 10:32, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:US federal government shutdown notice by Statue Cruise.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:US federal government shutdown notice by Statue Cruise.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the

High Speed Raik in Germany

Please be careful with your edits. Germany still has conventional InterCity Services as per their own website (http://www.bahn.com/i/view/USA/en/trains/overview/ecic.shtml). - Bhtpbank (talk) 09:58, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for you input, Bhtpbank. According to that web page, it says, "Faster than regional trains, IC and EC trains connect major cities, reaching speeds of 200 km/h." Based on this web page alone, all IC services are at higher-speed rail range. Maybe you can point out to the specific page that talks about some of their IC services that are running at conventional speeds. I do not live in Germany so I may be missing some concepts here. If you referred to the lower speeds regional trains which are also listed on their web page (http://www.bahn.com/i/view/USA/en/trains/overview/regional_and_urban_trains.shtml): Regional-Express, Regionalbahn and S-Bahn. Those are regional rail which are not strictly inter-city rail we are talking about. We can discuss more in the higher-speed rail talk page so we can share our thoughts with other editors. Thanks again. Z22 (talk) 05:34, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
