Wheatland Township is one of twenty townships in Fayette County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 496 and it contained 216 housing units.[1]

Geography

According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Wheatland Township has a total area of 36.73 square miles (95.13 km2), of which 36.69 square miles (95.03 km2) (or 99.90%) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (or 0.10%) is water.[2]
