Makes sense to Delete. Unused redirect, previously with a comment that has now been moved to the talk page anyways. Aza24 (talk) 22:39, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • These are just kept as history I think – {{R from comment subpage}}. J947edits 22:57, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep there are more than 20 thousand of these preserving the attribution for comments that were later subst'd onto talk pages as a result of a procedure developed following extensive community discussion, see
WP:DCS. If deletion of these is goal to be pursued, and I have no idea why we'd want to do so, it should be through a more systematic method than nominating one arbitrary redirect for deletion. 74.73.224.126 (talk) 17:55, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply

Global history

The result of the discussion was keep. Jay 💬 09:49, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure this is the best target for this redirect. Maybe dab, but I would like to see what others think of it. Interstellarity (talk) 20:51, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - I'm not quite certain what else "Global history" would refer to. There is already a hatnote at the top for history of globalization, which I think is even a stretch. Estar8806 (talk) 21:05, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We could possibly redirect it to History of globalization. Interstellarity (talk) 23:22, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I seriously doubt that anyone searching global history is looking for a history of globalization. While that may be a more "correct" comparison considering there is an argument for the difference between "global history" and "world history", the average reader is not going to make that distinction and is probably going to assume the two terms are interchangeable.
Nonetheless, the hatnote exists for those who do make a distinction between the two and I believe that is sufficient. Estar8806 (talk) 02:45, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep The current target is the most likely one. I agree with Estar8806 that the current hatnote is sufficient. -

The result of the discussion was speedy keep. Evidently the nominator did not get the message the first time. Deletion here would break a ton of incoming links. And yeah, look at this.

Various unlikely redirects to Penis

The result of the discussion was Keep Penis (animal) and delete Penides. No consensus for the others.. Jay 💬 08:57, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unlikely typo. 162.83.141.156 (talk) 01:00, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. Per nom. Unlikely search terms. Estar8806 (talk) 01:27, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Useless. ErceÇamurOfficial (talk) 10:57, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep
Penis (animal). These are cheap redirects, and it is easy to confirm that the first two are extant slang terms. The third is useful because a reader might well assume that the title, Penis, would refer to the human anatomy, and that looking for the animal version would require a disambiguator. No opinion on Penides. BD2412 T 02:22, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply

  • Keep
Penis (animal) given that the target article has detailed info on the matter. --Lenticel (talk) 01:49, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply

  • Delete
Peanus as it is a vague misseplling for peanuts and a slang for penis according to my Google Search. --Lenticel (talk) 01:53, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply
    ]
  • Delete Penides it seems to be an old English term for sugarcane syrup or molasses. --Lenticel (talk) 02:01, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete
Piener, though it's worth noting that all mentions in English Wikipedia were typos for "Peiner" (of or relating to Peine, Germany). 59.149.117.119 (talk) 07:11, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply
