Delete, extremely implausible typo. Users can just guess the spelling again, we don't need a redirect for every conceivable typo. Unless there's some meme/trend in the Pokemon community concerning the spelling of Torchic that I'm unaware of Theooolone (talk) 03:13, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete – per above, doesn't appear to mean anything in the Pokémon community.

  • Keep, plausible to swap the o and e. Utopes (talk / cont) 21:30, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Keep, this isn't a typo, it's a misspelling! These sound extremely similar when said aloud, at least with my accent anyway, I could easly see how one could make that spelling mistake. Theooolone (talk) 03:18, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Theooolone. A bit of research on Pokemon forums/YouTube videos brings up a ton of misspellings too.

implausible typo cogsan (nag me) (stalk me) 14:15, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, not implausible. This is an unfamiliar proper noun, people might not know where the A goes. Utopes (talk / cont) 21:14, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Could also be a misspelling for a spell used in the Final Fantasy series since there's an established pattern of the suffix "aga" representing the 3rd-lowest version of a spell. (Was going to say the highest, but I think "aja" is the highest now.) Steel1943 (talk) 23:32, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    What spell, and do we have any information about in on Wikipedia? Utopes (talk / cont) 00:32, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    My point is that the misspelling is vague, and due to that, there's a reasonable expectation that someone could be looking for something else. Steel1943 (talk) 07:14, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    FWIW, the Final Fantasy spell I was thinking of is "Diaga", though the word not mentioned anywhere on Wikipedia in an article related to Final Fantasy. Steel1943 (talk) 18:20, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    That's even further from the current spelling than Dialga is... I have a hard time seeing how theoretical Final Fantasy naming conventions would interfere with this redirect, personally. Utopes (talk / cont) 05:06, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Super Bowl redirects

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's

The result of the discussion was delete. Jay 💬 14:28, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Per

WP:CRYSTAL and past consensus on Super Bowl redirects that are too far out. There has been no date or location announced for these events (List of Super Bowl champions#Upcoming games, Super Bowl#Future venues) and we know basically nothing about them. The only thing we do know is who will be broadcasting them (List of Super Bowl broadcasters) because it's scheduled on a rotating basis through 2034. Hey man im josh (talk) 16:07, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply
]

Keep: The fact that they "don't even have a date or location announced yet" is EXACTLY why they redirect back to the article. Abhiramakella (talk) 16:18, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all per
    WP:RFD that get deleted, but recreated when there is an announcement of some sort usually no more than a year before the model is released. Steel1943 (talk) 16:23, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply
    ]
Keep: Actually, I just went to the List of Super Bowl broadcasters page, and it shows the dates of those Super Bowls. The NFL expanded to 17 games after the 2020 NFL season. Abhiramakella (talk) 19:10, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Duplicate !vote struck. Please do not vote twice. CycloneYoris talk! 20:31, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Abhiramakella: That list showed the dates but it's speculative and unsourced. I found the edit where the dates were inappropriately added. I've gone ahead and removed them as there's no source or confirmation for these dates and the NFL has only awarded and confirmed up to the Super Bowl in 2027. What's the 17 game part of it have to do with anything though? Hey man im josh (talk) 20:57, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Those dates are correct. Abhiramakella (talk) 01:41, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If those dates are correct you're welcome to add them back with
reliable sources. Hey man im josh (talk) 18:33, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply
]
Because the NFL expanded the number of games to 17, the Super Bowl was moved by one week. Because of this, the NFL added a 18th week. For example, Super Bowl LVI was originally scheduled for February 6th, 2022, but it was moved to February 13th, 2022. Abhiramakella (talk) 01:46, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's assuming the NFL doesn't make any adjustments to the dates. For all we know they could start a season a week earlier or later, we can't guess at that and add it to an article. Hey man im josh (talk) 18:34, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That demonstrates that they can change the number of games, and that the dates of the Superbowl can change accordingly, meaning that these dates are
WP:CYRSTAL. You are also assuming that there will be no changes to the length of time between the last normal game of the season and the Superbowl (either generally or as a one-off), that there will be no changes to the format of the event, and there will be no pandemics, strikes, earthquakes, or other things that will see one or more events cancelled or postponed. This is not an obvious redirect to FFXII, drivers' license point systems are rather common in the US. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 07:12, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep for now. Then, as now, not

Paradoctor (talk) 07:30, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Googling "license point" gets me entirely drivers' license-related results, most of which use that precise phrase, and nothing related to FFXII. Maybe the exact phrase isn't mentioned on Wikipedia, but it's certainly a believable search term for it. Honestly, Driver's license point system may be a better name for that article. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 09:04, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There may be ENGVAR issues with that suggested title, in Britain we talk about a "driving license" rather than a "driver's license". Awkward42 (talk) [the alternate account of Thryduulf (talk)] 22:56, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Since there is no obvious
WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, and the latter two at least are plausibly referred to as "Norf" (Norfbach gives Norf as an "also" name in its lede), a DAB is appropriate. I couldn't find "norf" mentioned anywhere at Rally Finland, so I'm neutral on including it (in case someone else knows something I don't about the connection between these topics). --NYKevin 09:03, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply

Not mentioned in the target article, leaving it's unclear what does redirect is meant to refer to. Most likely, this redirect refers to the subject meeting one of their ex-spouses, but without context in the article, the redirect is rather unhelpful in leading readers to information regarding the subject of the redirect itself. Steel1943 (talk) 01:01, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. This is kind of a senseless phrase that probably means something only to the person who created the redirect. ANd there are lots of Jordans and Peters in the world. And WP doesn't capitalize random verbs like "meet". So, no one every has any rational reason to use this phrase to try to find an article here.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  09:26, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As a redirect, this is highly unlikely and a borderline

WP:BLP issue. Here's the breakdown: The title is the subject's pseudonym, the first disambiguator is the subject's actual name, and the second disambiguator is what the subject's name might have been when they were married to someone during the years of 2005–2009 (which is the potential BLP issue). The existence of this redirect can create a perception that this individual's stage name contains a racial slur when it doesn't, creating a

WP:BLP implication. The duplicated consonants are not an especially natural misspeling because the vowels aren't pronounced as short vowels, and if this is seen as containing a series of misspellings, there are three errors involved: Nigga_higga. The pageviews are minimal and might have come from the ongoing discussion about the dubious utility rcat. —Alalch E. 00:15, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply
