WikiProject Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms was founded to support the improvement of articles dealing with the period between the

withdrawal of Romans from the British Isles in 410 AD until the effective loss of Anglo-Saxon control of England following the Battle of Hastings in 1066 in the region that would become the unified kingdom of England. Though primarily focused on the Historically studied aspects of this period, this project also wishes to improve the coverage of its modern historiography
, fiction, literature and cultural repercussions.
