WikiProject Frank Zappa

Project
WikiProject Frank Zappa is a project, created on 9 December, 2012 that helps to assemble editors interested in the life and work of musicisan Frank Zappa. The aim of this project is to improve articles related to Zappa, his body of work and his overall legacy, as well as to create missing articles.

If you feel that you can make a contribution to the project, become a member by joining the list of members. If you don't know what to write or where to begin, or if you have doubts or ideas on how to improve an article, please address the project's talk page.

Goals
The goals of this WikiProject are:
  • To improve Wikipedia's coverage of Frank Zappa-related material, by improving articles related to the subject.
  • To create related articles when necessary
  • Maintain and improve the Frank Zappa portal

III. Use footnotes. Take advantage of the footnote ability Wikipedia has, instead of including html links inside the context include them as footnotes. See

IV. Write a good lead. Be sure to write a

for more information.
V. Stay on topic. Many articles are criticized for length; sticking to the subject matter helps eliminate this. See Wikipedia:The perfect article for more information.
VI. Keep it simple. Remember that the average reader should be able to comprehend the erudition. Although you should use a broad vocabulary of regular, non-technical terms, do not provide such a quantity of locutions as to impel those who aspire to derive serviceable information from the article to consult a dictionary.
VII. Use images if possible. Images enhance articles greatly, but only use them when they are necessary, and ensure that their copyright status has been specified and we are allowed to use it on Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:Images
