Aponotoreas anthracias is a
Geometridae.[2][3] It is endemic to New Zealand.[4] This species was first described by Edward Meyrick in 1883 under the name Larentia anthracias.[5] Specimens of this species have been collected in the Maungatua ranges,[6] the Remarkables[7] and the Hawkdun Ecological District in Otago.[8] The host plant of this moth is Dracophyllum.[7]
