Eupolyphaga sinensis (Chinese: 土鳖虫), is a species of wingless, flightless cockroach in the genus Eupolyphaga, native to Western China and Mongolia. The dried body is used in traditional Chinese medicine.[2] They are collected, scalded to death by boiling water, and dried either in the sun or by baking. [3]
