The Madagascar martin (Riparia cowani) is a small passerine bird in the swallow family

montane Madagascar. It was formerly considered to be a subspecies of the brown-throated martin
(Riparia paludicola).

Taxonomy

The Madagascar martin was

monotypic: no subspecies are recognised.[4]
