Ramand-e Jonubi Rural District

Ramand-e Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان رامند جنوبي) is in Ramand District of Buin Zahra County, Qazvin province, Iran.^[3] Its original capital was the village of Danesfahan,^[4] since transferred to the village of Khuznin.^[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 5,339 in 1,296 households.^[6] There were 4,793 inhabitants in 1,353 households at the following census of 2011.^[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,180 in 1,608 households. The most populous of its 14 villages was Khuznin, with 3,194 people.^[2]
