Rhodopygia hinei, sometimes known by the common name tropical amberwing, is a member of the skimmer family of dragonflies.

Distribution

Rhodopygia hinei is found in Belize, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, and Ecuador.

Description

The abdomen of the male is bright red.
