Sakai bugyō
Sakai bugyō (堺奉行) were officials of the
daimyōs.[1]
Conventional interpretations have construed these Japanese titles as "commissioner", "overseer" or "governor".
Sakai is located on the edge of
Nagasaki
harbor.
