The result was: promoted by Yoninah (talk) 22:55, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Article is new enough, long enough, the sources are properly attributed and the hook is written in an interesting manner as well as the article itself. QPQ done. Great job. :) --Sky Harbor (talk) 16:10, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but I'm wondering what you mean by the results being the same? All the article mentions is that Mirziyoyev is likely to be reelected. Yoninah (talk) 19:47, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'll defer to JPxG if he means something different, but when I read the hook I interpreted it as the results being the same as the last election in 2016, when Mirziyoyev was elected. He's very likely to be elected in the upcoming election as well. --Sky Harbor (talk) 21:41, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Sky Harbor: That's how I interpreted it. But is he the only one running in the election, or are there others? Yoninah (talk) 21:47, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I imagine there will be others, but they won't stand a chance against Mirziyoyev and the state apparatus that he'll employ to win the election, as is the case in most autocracies. --Sky Harbor (talk) 22:48, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sorry, I was overlooking the name "presidential" election. I was thinking it was a general election. Restoring tick per your review. Yoninah (talk) 22:54, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Voter turnout

Hi, ShadZ01. You reverted my edit. Do you gonna fix this section or let it as it is? I removed it because it's the only thing preventing this article to make the main page and the removal was suggested in this discussion. If you ain't going to fix it then it's better to remove it. Kacamata! Dimmi!!! 01:50, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • I would gladly remove it to make this long article that I myself mostly written it to be on front page. The problem is I'm not sure how to deal with the situation in reigstered voters. I just feel like there should be some note or mention how contrast the number of registered voters were shown by the CEC and why do they out of nowhere differ from the preliminary results that the CEC mentioned in their conference which showed how supposedly more registered voters appeared after the election was done. If you have any suggestions, feel free to share. ShadZ01 (talk) 18:12, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • Is it because the preliminary figures mentioned in the table were for Uzbekistan only, not the overseas voters? Cheers, Number 57 22:08, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
ShadZ01 Could we just add a footnote or, as suggest by Modest Genius, to "move it to the talk page for now"? This article is too good to not make the MP. Kacamata! Dimmi!!! 23:19, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Kacamata I already figured out. It seems the voter turnout data that was published by the CEC was counting info inside the country. Hence why the difference between numbers in terms of votes which I already added the final results that were reported today. I also added changes in the voter turnout table that indicates the numbers by the CEC implied to within the country and not counting the oversea votes. So yeah, I say we're good to put this up into the MP now. ShadZ01 (talk) 02:31, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, you were great. I added your name as an updater, since you wrote over 80% of this article. Kacamata! Dimmi!!! 02:41, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
