chet as H?

Giving chet as H on the page is likely to be confusing as modern hebrew has an h, while chet and khaf have merged. I do not know what is involved in changing the title, and I do not know if it is appropriate to change the page myself. 63.194.181.254 (talk) 01:29, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See
WP:HEBREW. We use "h" to represent het on Wikipedia. "Ch" is more confusing to English readers, as this represents the "ch" sound in "choice". If anything "kh" would be more appropriate, as it is what we used for khaf. Number 57 01:32, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply
