Never mind, the adoption of the new Russian Constitution in 1993 (following the coup attempt), dropped the Vice Presidency, leaving the prime-minister as 'temporary successor'. GoodDay 21:49, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's been removed three times [1] [2] [3] without any explanation, reasoning or useful information in the edit summary, even after I added two references that verify he was acting president [4]. I've invited the editor that removed it to this talk page to contribute his thoughts on why it should be removed.
