Contested deletion
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the elephant is the center of a controversy that many are becoming more aware of in the recent years. A task force has been launched to assess the conditions of the elephants and determine their best options. In addition, Bamboo is likely one of the more well-known elephants in a U.S. zoo due to her story and the animal rights battle to give her a better life. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mc19491952 (talk • contribs) 03:54, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
