I have removed the following sentence: "In 2006, the studio had not released any successful films originating from Grey's team." This statement is unsourced and biased. As for sources to the contrary, let me quote The Wall Street Journal, "Pushing the Envelope" by Merissa Marr (January 24, 2006): "If awards were the only measure of a movie studio's success, Viacom Inc.'s Paramount Pictures would appear to be at the top of its game: ... When it comes to financial success, Paramount -- now in the third year of an attempted turnaround led by studio chief Brad Grey -- still has some work to do to achieve margins that match Hollywood's best-run studios, ... That's not to say Mr. Grey hasn't made progress already. Last year, he set out an ambitious strategy, organizing his movies under various labels. He scored several modest hits like Nacho Libre and Jackass Number Two, and used his skill as a former talent manager to draw some A-list filmmakers. And he made a splash by buying DreamWorks SKG, which came with its former owner, Steven Spielberg. ... Mr. Grey says Paramount's progress last year was just "a beginning. ..." Additionally, the New York Post wrote in "The Transformer" by Peter Lauria (January 14, 2006): "Tomorrow night's Golden Globes ceremony, where Paramount Pictures received the most nominations of any studio, was supposed to mark the beginning of a year of redemption for CEO Brad Grey." Note too that World Trade Center grossed 160 million worldwide. Both of these articles are easily accessible and constitute reputable sources. People, as Jimmy says time and again, we have an enormous responsibility when it comes to living people. There is nothing wrong with being critical when justly deserved, but let's try and be fair by sourcing our statements and not succumbing to gossip-mongering.
