There is a lot of inconsistency with the spelling of the name in this article. Is he Cornelius Cruys or Cornelis Cruys? I think it should be decided which is correct and then use that spelling throughout the article.

At the time he lived, there wasn't an institution to decide which spelling was "correct". I think that people insisting on "correct" spelling should learn to speak another language, like most of the world did at/before kindergarten. --129.125.102.126 (talk) 21:36, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
