Surely someone is more of an expert here; or perhaps not. I see that the page was created July 24 2014. TRhis is outrages considering the quick ascent and now backing by the United States of him. The appearance of creating a puppet state is looming without substantiation of the credibility of Mr. Masum. Editors and contributors! A recent addition failed to address the fact that the current Prime Minister has called the appointment illegal and unconstitutional, making Masum complicit of an illegal act against the state. As a wikipedian, I am a newbee and do not know if this should go on contributors talk pages or here; so please excuse any unintentional offense to more senior editors. This issue is most important and details SHOULD be included, regarding Masum, in this power transition. Dr Haider Al-Abadi (Arabic: حيدر العبادي‎) is an Iraqi politician and spokesman for the Islamic Dawa Party. He was appointed Prime Minister of Iraq on 11 August 2014 by President Fuad Masum, even while incumbent Nouri al-Maliki seemed to cling to power.

The defiant behavior of Maliki and the predictable slaughter of his loyalist is not being properly addressed in the article.
