Herb Reed was the founding member of The Platters. Not a joint venture with the first members that had no input on the groups claim to fame.
Prior to Reed’s death, they never performed
200 shows a year.
I know this because I Gail Stewart was with him and being his personal assistant for 25 years was privy to all his bookings.
His manager at time of his death and 2 years prior, erased me from his history and he blocked me from any contact with Reed for
his own way of stealing, lying, and cheating everything from me and anyone close to him!
