Did a bunch of cleaning up, and added a complete list of works, partially translated from the Japanese page. Not a hentai artist, so removed that category. Doceirias 11:08, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

When was he born?

Googling his name, the first thing that pops up is this article which says he was born in 1967, and the third is another bit about him saying he was 1968. Odd. Dream Focus (talk) 14:08, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Other works he has done

I found a list of other works he has done here: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://gantzotaku.com/dossier-gantz.1.html&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://gantzotaku.com/dossier-gantz.1.html%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG

The Google automatic translation of the French site leaves much to be desired. If anyone wants to add the information, there it is. Dream Focus (talk) 01:02, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That particular link doesn't seem to have a list; but either way, the list of his published works is actually complete. The only way we could expand it would be to actually list the short stories in the first three volumes of the original Hen, or list the Red and Black volumes that recollected those short stories while the main storyline got put in Widebans of its own. But that gets a bit complicated, so I don't think it's necessary. Doceirias (talk) 01:36, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Odd. The list was in another frame, seen when you click on Author. Here is the direct link: http://209.85.135.104/translate_c?hl=en&u=http://gantzotaku.com/auteur.1.html&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://gantzotaku.com/dossier-gantz.1.html%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG I think some of this might be of interest. Like I thought; those are the short stories from Hen. Doceirias (talk) 02:07, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

aintitcool.com link

"External links and references" section includes link to "Ain't it Cool article on Hiroya Oku" but that article seems to have been moved or deleted. Anyone know where article is now? (doesn't seem to be archived at archive.org) --EarthFurst (talk) 23:05, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That link list every time he was mentioned on that site, some of those official reviews, of a well established site, and thus wikipedia considers them notable. Wikipedia rules say you have to have "notable" references in legitimate third party media sources. Dream Focus (talk) 11:03, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Since the link is dead, I'm going to remove it. --Kraftlos (talk) 11:15, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The link works fine. I changed it say articles mentioning him, since that's what it is. Just click on the top and search for his name, and there is stuff about him. Dream Focus (talk) 17:31, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
