Have suggested (on the Wikipedia:Requested... etc ; and may write) an article on John Kinsella (composer), cause of several incorrect links to this article (which I have been attempting to fix without, I think, catching them all. The composer was born in Dublin in 1932, according to a page at CMC.IE; several symphonies of his are recorded on the label Marco Polo.) Schissel | Sound the Note! 23:38, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography

I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates and tables for short stories, poems and/or book reviews. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in

AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. Feel free to continue. Sunwin1960 (talk) 01:32, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply

Anarchism category

@

WP:CATDEF for Category:Australian anarchists and Category:Australian pacifists? Right now the sole mention of anarchism in the article is "Kinsella's 2010 book, Activist Poetics: Anarchy in the Avon Valley, was published by Liverpool University Press and is edited by Niall Lucy" and the only mention of him being a pacifist is the title of his shared blog. -- asilvering (talk) 15:20, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply

Hi, here: https://overland.org.au/2008/11/on-anarchism-john-kinsella-interviewed-by-tracy-ryan/
and here: https://www.jstor.org/stable/41957258 ("Rethinking Literary Ecology: Social Ecology, Anarchism and the Poetry of John Kinsella" by Gary Clark, Antipodes journal vol 17 no. 1 2003)
and here: https://preludemag.com/issues/1/introduction-to-john-kinsella/
also mentioned here: https://www.poetryinternational.com/en/poets-poems/poets/poet/102-674_Kinsella
... or did you mean for me to add them to the references of the actual article? Thanks! Proof64 (talk) 07:31, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
PS I notice the Overland one is already mentioned in the article but not with its title (under Interviews) Proof64 (talk) 07:33, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Proof64 If you want to add them to the article that would be great! In principle, if something is a defining enough feature that the article should be placed in a specific category because of it, it's important enough that the article should discuss it (especially for biographies of living people), so something about his political views would be good to have here. But no rush. I was just checking that everyone in Australian anarchists belonged there. -- asilvering (talk) 21:30, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
