"... had nothing to do with the shooting"
I had to remove the phrase again. It's not sourced and therefore not consistent with
"...motive behind Kurras' act remains unclear." is a good alternative paraphrase. Alandeus (talk) 07:02, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
This page should be ramped up a considerable amount. It's important to note that Ohnesorg's death was the clarion call for a huge left-wing movement across Germany. Ohnesorg's murder had massive implications for the society as a whole. This was a very substantial inflection point in German history. This defined an entire generation of Germans as much as Kent State defined a generation of Americans. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.240.150.52 (talk) 21:36, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
"...had nothing to do with the shooting." Ha! Adorable.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.240.150.52 (talk) 21:36, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
- Right and the killing was excecuted by a left wing communist spy, even though the easily fooled left wing had no clue and
remains in denial to this day because it makes them look like the dupes they are. The idea that someone has to keep removing the delusional expression, "but it had nothing to do with the shooting" tells you all you need to know about who really controls wikipedia. Folks, a communist was behind this from the jump. The communists were the ones that benefited. But, you want us to believe there was no connection? Nikita, please...99.185.56.93 (talk) 00:58, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Hospital manipulation
Jan 23rd, 2012. German speakers please consult Spiegel for new information, including images and a doctor's admission that in the Moabit hospital manipulation occurred. 144.136.177.86 (talk) 03:03, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
- It also made media in Sweden[1] and they mention that the coroner tried to hide the bullet wound and several police officers tried to hide the evidence. // Liftarn (talk)
POV
The sentence "protest turned violent after provocations by the Shah's agents and the police's overreacting" sounds POV to me. And was there any evidence of "the Shah's agents" being present? The only "agents" now known to have been present were Stasi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.197.15.138 (talk) 19:41, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

- Support per nomination. This is not a biographical entry for Benno Ohnesorg since this article's text is entirely about the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting. Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:14, 24 June 2018 (UTC)

- Support per nomination. I would have voted for the form "Shooting of..." two years ago, on June 24, 2018, above (Talk:Death of Benno Ohnesorg#Requested move 21 June 2018), if that option had been presented then. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 05:36, 26 June 2020 (UTC)]
- Support, as shooting is a more specific form of death and follows use elsewhere.--Bob not snob (talk) 07:00, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
