Champagne Mango
Am I correct in thinking this is what's known as a "champagne mango"? I am unsure, but would like to add the information to the appropriate article.

Merger proposal
I propose that Mangifera indica be merged into Mango. I think that the content in the Mangifera indica article can easily be explained in the context of Mango, and the Mango article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Mangifera indica will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. - I would like to inform you that the article Mango is about the fruit and only provides general information about Mango as any other fruit. However, Mangifera indica is about a particular species of Mango which is found in India and provides information regarding that species only. Merging these two articles might lead to confusion among readers. Citing above reasons, I do not agree with the proposal. Thank you. Abhishek Pujari (talk) 12:05, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. This proposal is backwards. If there is to be merger then this article should remain and Mango should be merged into it and converted to a redirect. Plantsurfer 20:25, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
