Is it
Can someone set the record straight on the quote "Life is something that happens while you are making other plans" -- 1. Was it Margaret Millar? (most people claim it was John Lennon) 2. What exactly is the quote?
- The aphorism is "Life is something that happens to you while you're making other plans," and it appears in Beyond This Point Are Monsters (1970). The character who mentions it also says, however, that he read it somewhere.--Baphomet V (talk) 16:30, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
